Philosophy of Care
As an FNP, I treat my patients with the understanding that each patient is unique and has an individual set of needs and circumstances that affect their health and wellbeing. As an FNP I am very fortunate to care for patients of all ages and oftentimes multiple family members. I believe it is important for patients to have knowledge and understanding of health promotion and prevention activities as well as current and potential health problems in order to have successful outcomes. I believe in being open, honest, and providing education to my patients (and families) so that they can be as active as possible in their health care plans and have the best possible outcomes. It is very important for me to build trusting relationships with my patients and families as a provider in our small community.Â
