Dental Care for Adults
Dental Care for the entire family
Oral health is important to overall health. That is why Community Health has integrated dental care into the primary care services offered to all Community Health patients, children to adults. You do not need to be a Community Health medical patient to become a dental patient.
Establishing dental care at Community Dental and getting into a routine of prevention is the key. The American Association for Pediatric Dentistry recommends that every child sees a dentist before the age of 12 months so the child becomes familiar with the dentist and the surroundings.

Dental Care is important for those with chronic illnesses
Oral health is important for overall health especially if you have been diagnosed with diabetes, coronary artery disease or cerebral vascular disease.
Serious gum disease is associated with diabetes, heart disease and other medical conditions. Gingivitis, periodontitis and gum issues are monitored as signs of heart problems. Research by the American Dental Association has found that treating gum disease can help people with diabetes control their blood glucose.
A beautiful smile restores confidence
The connection between oral hygiene and overall health, physical and behavioral, is something that Community Health values.
People report that the condition of their mouth and teeth affects their ability to interview for a job, many report difficulties biting and chewing and dental pain is a common reason patients end up in the emergency room.
Community Dental is a vital component of Community Health’s primary care mission to bring health and wellness to the whole body and mind.
