Dr. Land grew up in rural Georgia. He attended college at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee before moving back to his home state to complete medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. For residency, he returned to his rural roots, training with the Frontier Track of Cahaba Medical Care, located in underserved, rural Alabama. His experience in rural areas has given him an appreciation for full-spectrum family medicine and community. In his free time, he enjoys playing drums, cooking, going to concerts, and enjoying motorsports (NASCAR, Formula 1, IndyCar). He and his wife reside in Dorset with their Australian Shepherd.

Philosophy of Care

Being proactive is much better than reactive. Thus, preventative care is important for a fulfilling, healthy life.
