Anne Awad has been a resident of Wallingford for 8 years, after 40 years of coming there for vacations with her family. Anne holds an MSW degree from UConn, and an MPH and PhD in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts. She worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for 30 years and led rural and urban community health centers (FQHCs) for 15 years. She is retired but can be convinced to do occasional consulting projects. She was an adjunct professor for UConn, Springfield College, and the University of Massachusetts. She is a Certified Master Gardener for the University of Vermont and serves on the Select Board for Wallingford. She hikes and skis with her family of kids and grandkids.
