Kirk is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He received his Master of Science in Counseling and Community Mental Health in 2013 and became licensed in 2017. Kirk has worked with children, families, and adults, supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting challenges, anger management, and ADHD.

Kirk’s counseling style is honest, compassionate, and respectful. He believes in meeting people where they are while also encouraging personal responsibility and growth. His therapeutic approach blends cognitive‑behavioral, humanistic, and solution‑focused techniques, along with mindfulness practices that he integrates into all of his work.

Kirk believes that making positive changes takes courage, as well as patience and self‑acceptance. He views the present moment – wherever someone may be in their life – as the right place to begin or return to meaningful self‑reflection. By balancing acceptance with growth, Kirk believes individuals can build a rich and fulfilling life. He would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
