Indra Lovko, MD, FAAP
Medical | Pediatrics
Indra Lovko, MD, FAAP began her career in Rutland in 1998 after completing her pediatric residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She joined Pediatric Associates which became part of Community Health in 2011. Her interests within general pediatrics include skin conditions, diagnosing autism, breastfeeding support, and health in childcare.
She completed her medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine after graduating with honors from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history.
Her two children were born and raised in Rutland, and she is grateful for the close community environment in which they grew up. Now as an empty nester, when she is not working, she fills her time gardening, quilting, knitting, and traveling, and she is always in search of the perfect beach.
Philosophy of Care
It's an honor and privilege to work with families and help parents care for their children. I appreciate their trust in me, and I strive for excellence with every interaction. My philosophy is to take care of my patients the way I would expect my family members to be taken care of, and I hope everyone leaves my office feeling good about the visit. I listen closely to parents because they know their children the best. I enjoy pushing myself academically and am proud of my awards for exceeding our continuing education requirements.
