Jade Mead,
Vice Chair
Jade Mead joined the board in 2021. As a trained peer support specialist with Counseling Services of Addison County she works with adults and children. A Vermont resident sine 2001, Mead “brings a new voice and perspective” to the Community Health board with a focus on underserved communities like LGBTQ and homeless populations in the Rutland area. She volunteers as a host for Sonder Recovery, an online recovery community space. A graduate of Castleton University’s Computer Information Systems program, she plans to further her interest in social work through Castleton’s social work degree programs.
