Vanessa Granados, MS, CMHC, is a rostered psychotherapist at Community Health, who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in a community, residential, and school setting. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Vermont. Granados draws from psychodynamic theory to help clients make meaning of their past, unconscious patterns, and build more fulfilling lives. Her clinical focus centers on the impact of early attachment, relational trauma, and unconscious patterns shape a person’s identity and coping strategies. At Community Health, she embraces the organization’s holistic model of care and collaborative environments. Outside of the therapy office, she loves reading, being by the water, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Philosophy of Care
I am grounded in a psychodynamic and strengths-based approach and believe healing begins with understanding the deeper roots of ones emotional experience while also recognizing each persons innate resilience. I aim to create a safe, grounding, and collaborative space.
