Ray Muszynski has 8 years of experience working in mental health. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Central Connecticut State University and her master’s degree in social work from Boise State University. She completed her internship working crisis intervention services within the Boston suburb of Weymouth, MA. In addition to her clinical practice, Ray previously served by volunteering at various nonprofits in California and Wyoming through AmeriCorps. Ray has a passion for human rights and is a strong advocate for marginalized communities. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and crafting.
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy is a client-centered and strengths-based approach. I believe that each person has the right to self-determination and is the main driver of change within their life. I use a strength-based approach and philosophy to empower clients to build upon their strengths and help them to reach their full potential.
Professional Interests:
Professional interests include working with adults with severe and chronic mental illness, specifically around thought disorders and mood disorders. Other areas of interest are working with individuals with substance use.
