Michele Pilz, LCMHC, LADC, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor at Community Health Behavioral Health’s North Main Street practice. She’s worked with behavioral health, case management, and addiction counseling and therapy for the past 20 years at various programs throughout Rutland County including Serenity House, Rutland Mental Health, West Ridge Center, and the Foley Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center
Michele completed an internship in intensive outpatient and community rehabilitative treatment at Rutland Mental Health for her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch New England University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Castleton University.
A lifelong Vermont resident, she loves winter and cold weather and enjoys reading and spending time with friends and her two cats, Moose and Riley.

It is my philosophy to meet my patients where they are.

My professional interests are grieving, substance use, boundary issues, meaning making, change of life challenges, relationship building, anxiety/depression, end of life counseling and support for older adults.
