Scheduling Kids Covid-19 Vaccines The Covid Vaccine is available for children ages 6 months and up. Community Health Pediatrics is running after school Covid Vaccination Clinics on Tuesdays to accommodate this need. First and second doses for children ages 6 months – 11 as well as boosters for children over 12 are available. All Covid Vaccine Clinics will be held at: Community Health Pediatrics 1 General Wing Rd Rutland, VT 05701 Community Health patients AND patients from any other practice are welcome to attend our clinics. If your child is an existing Community Health patient at any Community Health location, you can schedule an appointment here. If your child is not a Community Health patient, please call 802-773-9131 to schedule. Please have the following information available to register: name, address, telephone number, insurance information, and any known allergies. All Covid Vaccine Clinics will be held at Community Health Pediatrics 1 General Wing Rd, Rutland, VT 05701 Patients will need appointments. No walk-ins. Appointments are 15 minute slots. If a child has a severe allergy or history of anaphylaxis they get a 30 minute slot AND they need to bring their epi pen! Patients will be scheduled for dose #2 when they are getting dose #1. Boosters for children ages 12 and up are also available. Separate vaccination appointments are needed for each child in the family. Patients may not attend a COVID-19 vaccine appointment if they have COVID-19 illness, are in quarantine related to a COVID-19 exposure or have symptoms of COVID-19 illness. A COVID-19 vaccine appointment is only for vaccination. Patients will not be seen for routine or acute care at this Vaccination Clinic. If a child has recently had COVID-19 illness, they are eligible for vaccination if they are out of quarantine and feeling well. Existing Patient? Schedule pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine.
