Sarah Dwyer, FNP-C

Prior to joining Community Health, Sarah worked most recently as an RN at Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Surgical Unit. A graduate of Chamberlain University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science, in Family Nurse Practitioner programs, she also holds associate degrees in allied health and criminal justice and completed a dental assistant apprentice course.

Sarah’s interest in nursing and service to the community developed in the military. “I come from a history of working military. I’m passionate about working with vets.” During a four-year tour of active duty with the US Air Force, Dwyer earned experience and undergraduate education in security and operations. After leaving active duty, she joined the Vermont National Guard, where, as a non-commissioned officer she helped run the base dental clinic.
Born in Bethel, VT, Dwyer and her family have settled in Rutland near family after traveling across the US and Europe.A marathon runner, Dwyer enjoys hiking, travel, biking and anything outdoors.
