Rebecca E. Merrifox, MD, FAAP

Rebecca Merrifox, MD, FAAP a graduate of Robert Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, brings her passion for family and pediatric medicine to Community Health Pediatrics. She is both a hospitalist, meeting families and newborns at the hospital, and a provider at the pediatrics practice.
A researcher, biologist, author, and community volunteer she is dedicated to advancing medical education and health sciences by improving communication between providers and patients. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Health Science from Oregon Institute of Technology, did research in colorectal cancer and asthma at Fletcher Allen School of Cytotechnology, and completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Dr. Merrifox, a native Vermonter and mother of two sons has many hobbies, among them baking, sewing, gardening, and reading.
