Jenna Munger, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Community Health’s nursing home service where she serves as a primary care provider for patients at nursing homes in Rutland County.
Her experience and training in inpatient and outpatient medical care include internal medicine, family medicine, emergency and urgent care, women’s health, pediatrics, surgery, behavioral health medicine, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Master of Science, Physician Assistant program. As an undergrad at the University of Vermont, she earned a Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science. Inspired by laboratory science, Munger was a medical laboratory scientist at Rutland Regional Medical Center before pursuing physician assistant training.
A Rutland County native, Munger enjoys downhill skiing, league bowling, and tending her extensive garden of vegetables, flowers, and annual and perennial plantings.
Philosophy of Care
I think that care is so much better when you take that extra minute to educate a patient and their family in a way that makes sense to them. I believe that educating patients in their own care in clear simple language is the key to having a successful outcome.
