Covid-19 Vaccine for Kids Age 5-11 at Community Health Pediatrics

Community Health Pediatrics Offers Covid Shots Starting November 19

Beginning on November 19, Covid-19 vaccines will be given two weekday evenings and one weekend day at Community Health Pediatrics. An appointment will be required. Children do not need to be patients of a Community Health practice to receive a vaccine. If your child is not a Community Health patient call 802-773-9131 for information about how to schedule a vaccine.

If your child is a Community Health patient, you can schedule their Covid-19 vaccine online on our website, or call 802-773-9131. When scheduling an appointment, be sure to enter your child’s name as it appears in their Community Health medical record. Each child in your family will need a separate appointment.

For the health and safety of patients and staff, masks will be required, and all patients will be screened before entering any of the Community Health practices.

When scheduling your child for a Covid-19 vaccine remember:

  • All children ages 5-11 can receive the vaccine. Separate appointments are needed for each child in the family.
  • Existing Community Health patients can schedule an appointment online or call 802-773-9131.
  • If your child is not a Community Health patient, call  802-773-9131 and have the following information available: name, address, telephone number, insurance information and any known allergies.
  • Vaccines are given by appointment only. There will be no walk-ins.
  • Appointments are in 15-minute slots. If a child has a severe allergy or history of anaphylaxis, a 30-minute slot will be arranged and patients need to bring their EpiPen.
  • Patients will be scheduled for dose #2 when they are getting dose #1.
  • Patients may not attend a Covid-19 vaccine appointment if they have Covid-19 illness, are in quarantine related to a Covid-19 exposure or have symptoms of Covid-19 illness.
