Bradley Berryhill, MD Named 2021 Outstanding Clinician By Bill Ackerman on March 27, 2021 in Uncategorized Bradley Berryhill, MD, Community Health’s Chief Medical Officer, has been awarded the 2021 Outstanding Clinician Award from the Bi-State Primary Care Association for his tireless dedication to patients, staff and colleagues. “Dr. Berryhill is a true warrior on the front lines and a Samaritan for our community,” said Community Health CEO Don Reuther. “No words could be more accurate. Thank you, Brad, and congratulations.” Dr. Berryhill led Community Health’s COVID-19 efforts with compassion and skill, setting a course for Vermont’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to remain open and accessible to patients throughout the pandemic. In addition to overseeing clinical operations for the health network’s seven practice facilities, Dr. Berryhill serves as the medical director for three skilled nursing facilities and maintains a primary care practice. Dr. Berryhill joined the health care network in 2004 as medical director. A 1986 graduate of State University of New York Upstate, he completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Center in Syracuse and received a master’s degree in health care policy and administration from Harvard University in 2006. Dr. Berryhill and other honorees for the Bi-State Primary Care Association awards were nominated by a jury of their peers for their “exceptional leadership and significant contribution to improving access to health care and food resources during the long first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.” A live virtual awards ceremony will be streamed on Bi-State’s website on May 19, 2021.
