Calling All Teddy Bears to Rutland WinterFest By Jill Jesso-White on February 5, 2020 in Community Health News Community Health Teddy Bear Clinic and Chili Cook Off Friday and Saturday Feb. 21-22 Teddy Bear Clinic — Friday February 21 To quote Winne the Pooh, “Some people care too much. I think it’s called love.” At Community Health, we love to care. And, lots of love and care will be shared February 21 at the Teddy Bear Clinic at Rutland WinterFest. It’s become an annual tradition at Community Health where our staff and volunteers lovingly mend your teddy bear, unicorn, dinosaur or child’s favorite plush creature. Last year, hundreds of teddy bears and their owners lined up for a dose of kindness from our compassionate care givers. Come and meet them between 4:30 and 7pm and sign up for a chance to win a Vermont Teddy Bear, and remember to say hello to Ted E. Bear! There will be plenty of goodies and teddy bear care for everyone who stops by. Visit our WinterFest Teddy Bear Clinic, Friday, February 21 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Take a picture with our mascot and enter the raffle for a Vermont Teddy Bear of your own. Chili Cook Off — Saturday, February 22 Look for our new logo and colors at the Chili Cook Off on Saturday, February 22 at Rutland Main Street Park. Our Community Health “chefs” will be competing with other area businesses and organizations for the top three best chili recipes.
